Updream combines script, storyboard, and generation in one workspace. Its value is workflow consolidation rather than automatically having the cheapest model. The purchase decision depends on candidate-shot coverage and whether external API bills are additional.
Current public plan snapshot
≈ ¥79/month · 19,800 points/month
≈ ¥259/month · 64,800 points/month
≈ ¥526/month · 131,400 points/month
These are promotional annual prices and monthly point equivalents shown in the product UI on the review date, not permanent prices. Monthly points are currently labeled as valid for 31 days; top-up discounts and campaign bonuses are separate.
Point conversion
The same 19,800 points currently convert to about 180 seconds of Seedance 2.0 720p, 66 seconds of Seedance 2.0 1080p, or 495 seconds of Kling O3 720p. Monthly points cannot be compared without the model basis.
Workflow position
The creation entry accepts a content brief, and official skills include script-to-storyboard generation.
Image, document, audio, and video uploads are supported alongside multi-view character and lighting skills.
The workflow exposes problem-video repair and prompt-reconstruction skills.
A team-management entry exists, but public team pricing, permissions, and seat rules are not verified.
Sources and verification
Reviewed information means ComputeUnion inspected the public product UI. Domain verification requires the platform to prove control through the submission flow. Neither is an endorsement of price, service quality, or fulfillment.
Purchase decision
| Route | Strength | Cost visibility | Technical effort | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Updream | Consolidated storyboard and generation | Plans are visible; shot cost varies by model | Low | Solo and small-team pilots |
| Studio + own API | Workflow and model flexibility | Requires two cost ledgers | Medium | Creators with existing API keys |
| API-first | Automation and unit-cost control | Highest, but retries need instrumentation | High | Engineering teams and batch production |
The current product UI shows access to basic models, four concurrent image jobs, two concurrent video jobs, and a local mode with model extension. Limits and promotional benefits may change.
Choose by monthly candidate-shot seconds, not finished runtime alone. Pro fits pilot production, Max fits steadier monthly volume, and Ultra targets higher concurrency and point demand.
The current UI mentions local mode and model extension. A community skill describes Base URL and API Key integration, but community evidence is not the same as an official public developer-API commitment. Verify before use.
The current plan interface says monthly membership points remain valid for 31 days. First-purchase bonuses, campaign points, and separately purchased points may follow different terms.
A team-management entry was visible, but public team pricing was not verified. This review did not find a dedicated refund page and did not verify invoice support.
